Game Board Directions

Use a pencil to trace guide lines onto the green spider fabric paper dividing the
paper into 9 equal squares. With a zigzag bladed rotary cutter or pinking shears,
cut 8 strips of Jet Black fabric paper " wide. Center 4 of the strips over the
pencil lines on the green spider paper and machine stitch in place. This is the
front piece of the game board.

Cut a 2 " strip off one end of the Orange Cat fabric paper and off one end of
one sheet of the Fairy Frost Flame fabric paper. Using temporary spray
adhesive, glue the cat paper pieces to the Fairy Frost Flame paper pieces, wrong
sides together. Topstitch the cut edges of both pieces to secure.

On the wrong side of the green spider paper arrange the 2 backed pieces of cat
paper so that the topstitched cut edges meet each other and the outside edges
align. The lined cat paper pieces become the back of the game board and the
pocket to hold the game pieces. Use a light coat of temporary spray adhesive to
hold the top and bottom pieces of the game board together while sewing. Turn
the game board right side up and place the remaining 4 strips of Jet Black paper
along the edges so that one side of each strip extends slightly over the edge of
the board. Miter the ends of the strips by trimming a small triangle off both ends
to allow each strip to meet flush with the next at the corners. Use temporary
spray adhesive to hold the strips in place before stitching them down. Be sure to
stitch through all layers of the board.
